College student . We are seeking a
Community Engagement Intern in our Community Development Department.
The Community Engagement Intern will collaborate with City planning staff as they work to craft and execute a creative community outreach strategy for the Community Action and Resilience Plan (CARP). The CARP plan will help the community to identify the highest priority challenges and most feasible solutions to put Gloucester on track to meet long-term energy, climate, and resiliency goals. The CARP plan also emphasizes outreach and participation of community stakeholders, particularly those most impacted by the effects of climate change. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the municipal process, effect real change on environmental justice, and build your resume!
