You\u2019ll be an integral part of Big Ass Fans\u2019 Purchasing team, assisting in a\u00A0variety of functional areas, such as planning, manufacturing, purchasing process, project management, strategy, and logistics, and be primarily responsible for assisting the supply chain team on daily production projects.The ideal candidate will apply hours learned in the classroom to real-life situations!\u00A0 You'll possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once. You must be detail-oriented, an independent thinker and possess strong organizational skills.\u00A0\u00A0Responsibilities Provide support for the Purchasing team Learn and execute processes to best support manufacturing functions Acquire\u00A0BAF techniques to analyze inventory, demand, stocking levels and location Confirm, track and manage supplier delivery schedules for production parts on a weekly basis Generate, update, and maintain ERP parameters Resolve issues with materials that impact product schedules Assist with vendor communication and reporting Data management projectsRequirements Must be working toward a BS degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business Systems\u00A0\u00A0 Strong understanding of supply chain processes\u00A0 Basic understanding of project management methodology Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Process improvement mindset\u00A0 Excellent verbal and written communication skills\u00A0 Proficient in Microsoft ExcelWhy live life Big Ass?
