Internship Jobs description
The various types of internships that are generally offered to students are architectural internship, legal internship, construction internship, accounting internship, engineering internship, IT internship, retail internship, and many others. Internships are designed by employers to help students get practical knowledge or hands on experience on the various aspects of professional courses. Students on various internships are responsible for performing several duties both in the functional areas as well as administrative tasks. A typical internship is generally supervised by a line manager.An internship in any area is offered to a student pursuing a bachelor's degree or a higher qualification in the area. Excellent academic credentials are essential for students to get into reputed corporations. Prior project work or research performed in the specific area may be advantageous.
Internships may be paid or volunteer internships. Some employers may offer part-time internships, though generally internships are full-time.
