Fast Trippier Law is looking to hire one articling student for the 2022-2023 articling year.
Our Firm
Fast Trippier Law is a mid-sized law firm in downtown Winnipeg. Our firm’s practice is focused primarily in the areas of business law and civil litigation.
We represent a range of clients, including major local, regional, national, and international businesses, small businesses, and individuals. We provide a comprehensive range of legal services including to insurance companies, First Nations, and financial institutions as well as to corporations in the service, retail, manufacturing, construction, farming, and real estate sectors.
Expectations and Goals
Our students and new lawyers receive quality work, train with experienced lawyers, and learn through hands on experience. Our students have excellent rates of retention and success.
As a student at Fast Trippier Law, you can expect to receive broad exposure to the areas of practice and differing practice styles within the firm. We believe in an open door policy, and encourage you to ask questions and seek assistance on any matter when required.
Each student is matched with a principal who will work with you to ensure exposure to different areas of law and to develop practice management skills. Your interests are taken into account as we attempt to ensure that you receive additional exposure in your specific areas of interest.
You can expect to draft documents, attend court, and meet with clients. You will be provided with an office as well as secretarial and other administrative support. You will have full access to online resources for research.
We encourage you to learn and grow such that you will move rapidly from observing and assisting in particular matters to conducting matters with minimal assistance. We take pride in assisting our students to become capable lawyers.
We provide a competitive student compensation package as well as enrollment in our group life, disability and health plan coverage. We provide you with free parking and pay your PREP course fees.
