Job Details:
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for assisting the Food Service Poultry Category Marketing Team on projects related to category management and brand marketing. Key responsibilities will include data analysis an performance tracking using Tyson systems and Excel, procuring competitive product and in market samples to perform and record product attributes, gathering and auditing master data as an input into strategic projects, updating key documents on a regular basis with accurate data, organizing and leading product cuttings, and assisting with category selling tools. Must be a self-starter and self-motivated with an interest in learning about the company as a whole and about Food Service.
*This position is located in Springdale AR. This is a year-round internship with the selected candidate expected to work 40 hours during the summer and 15-20 hours during the school year.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Marketing, Business Management, Poultry or Animal Science majors preferred. Sophomore level or higher required. At least one year of school remaining.
Experience: Previous experience in an office environment preferred.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Excel and Power Points skills are a plus. We will train in any Tyson related systems and processes.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; position interacts with the Marketing and Innovation Teams, Sales, Sales Development, Channel Marketing, Research & Development, Customer Service and Business Units.
Special Skills: Must have ability to perform analytical tasks and excel in communication as well as perform the various projects they are given.

Travel: Limited; Local travel only.
