Our Software Products Engineering (SPE) team consists of over 2200 software engineers with a central focus on real-time software development, integration, testing, and validation activities for RMD's core capabilities. Mission Areas within the RMD business include Advance Technology, Land Warfare and Air Defense, Naval Power, Air Power, and Strategic Missile Defense. This is how we do our part in keeping our war fighters safe.The Software Department in Fullerton, California is looking for individuals to perform various software engineering activities.Responsibilities to Anticipate: nParticipate in the requirements, design, development and testing of radar software, application software, and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems.nParticipate in internal review of software components and systems.nCollaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering.nFollow development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products.nThis position can be a Junior Technical, Senior Technical, or Post-Graduate Technical based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:nJunior Technical - must have completed 60 credit hours of college by start of internship.nSenior Technical - must have completed 90 credit hours of college by start of internship.nPost-Graduate Technical - must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship.nQualifications You Must Have: nMust be a Junior, Senior, or Post-Graduate by the start of summer 2022 in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).nExperience with C, C or Java. nThe ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
