Summary:

This position will be responsible for assisting multiple buying desks by creating and editing Purchase Orders within SAP; creating procurement reports and dashboards using excel, AFE, power BI, and other reporting platforms; manage vendor approval process across multiple buying desks; and aide in any continuous improvement projects. Based on initiative this position offers the potential for exposure to supply chain management, protein procurement, vendor management, customer service, large corporate environment, consumer packaged goods production, business planning, and enhancement of reporting & presentation skills.

REQUIREMENTS: Education: Incoming Junior or Senior or MBA candidate. Agriculture, Supply Chain (Business), or Animal Science majors preferred.

Experience: Previous work experience preferred but not required.

Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

Supervisory: None

Special Skills: Ability to multitask; motivated self-starter

*This is an in-person role that can be based in Chicago, IL or Springdale, AR.

Candidates should anticipate working 15-20 hours per week during the school year (negotiable) and 35-40 hours per week over the summer.
