Job Summary
UPS is seeking a dynamic Intern to work on targeted projects individually, and in potentially in small teams. If you're a college sophomore or higher looking for hands-on, practical business experience, we want to hear from you!
The Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO) Intern at UPS works on projects which will provide experience with project management methodology, business process improvement, and exposure to program management with cross-functional teams. This opportunity will allow you to sharpen your organizational, communication skills and problem solving capabilities in the business environment. In addition, it will enhance your project management and business process management knowledge. You must organize your work and problem solve when using planning software (i.e. MS Project, SharePoint, Excel, Word, etc.). You will be required to present the completed project to the ePMO department at the completion of your internship. This position performs other career related responsibilities as assigned.
Responsibilities
Works in teams, engages and takes part in all team discussions and decision making
Possesses good organizational skills and problem solving capabilities in the business environment
Works with little supervision and is proactive
Plans and executes the assigned projects
Analyzes process improvements opportunities
Develops standardized processes
Helps develop training materials
Creates and presents projects to leadership
Preferences
Possesses excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates effective research skills
Works collaboratively and independently; uses articulate 360
Possesses MS project skills
Experience with Bizagi
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Power Point, Excel and Word)
Displays MS Access skills
Possesses knowledge of SharePoint
