The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Intern will join our Search team in crafting powerful content strategies, optimizing exceptional site experiences, and driving results for some of the world’s biggest brands. Today’s user experience begins at the search results, and search is at the core of a customer-centric digital strategy. The Search Intern will utilize search data to understand consumer behaviour, identify moments of intent along the user journey, and recommend strategic opportunities to drive visibility and performance. The successful candidate is a data-driven, detail-oriented digital marketer with a background or interest in paid/organic search, content strategy, analytics, UX, social, and technical optimization.
This 12-week internship commences September 13, 2021. Deadline to apply for this internship is August 6, 2021.
You Will:
Analyze search trends and consumer data to identify and execute strategic opportunities
Develop search-driven content strategies and recommendations
Performing keyword research & analysis
Research emerging industry trends and search best practices
Monitor and report on search performance
Audit site experiences, competitors, and the evolving search landscape to identify areas of opportunity
Work closely with Content, Technology, Strategy, and Creative teams to execute search strategies
Create targeted search deliverables including meta content, URL strategies, on-page content recommendations, site structure recommendations, and internal linking strategies
You Have:
A passion for data analytics
Aptitude and interest in content strategy and UX
Excellent writing skills
Ability to research and apply the latest search developments and tactics
Strong initiative and independence
Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, flexible environment
