All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply, including individuals with disabilities and Protected Veterans.   POSITION SUMMARY: The Transportation Intern is “hosted” by the Transportation Department at one of our manufacturing/distribution facilities.  Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Transportation Management Team with: • Procurement of all contracted truckload, expedited and intermodal transportation • Outbound truckload transportation  • Ensuring carrier selection is made according to the needs of the sites, quality of service, cost and commitments.   Please note that we do not provide housing.   Basic Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future Must be currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university at the time of the internship Must have sophomore, junior or senior class standing Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8 Must be willing to relocate if in the future considered for a Trainee position Must have experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Power Point   Other Qualifications: Operations/Industrial Management, Distribution Management, Supply Chain, Engineering Technology, Logistics, or related majors Previous Internship, Co-op or work experience in a related field Previous experience as a Sherwin-Williams Intern or Co-op Previous internship or co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division Leadership experience as demonstrated by your involvement in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community  Strong communication skills both verbal and written Problem solving ability   Sherwin-Williams is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
