Manage multiple program schedules and released of model and drawings, Attend program meetings for new programs/ projects representing Design Services. Evaluate the scope of work and manpower required. Develope and improve quality metrics and depatmental metrics. Assist in the develpomnet of new strategies to improve quality and speed in our processes Support a Teaming environmentPosition Requirements: nPursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4 year university or college.nAttain at least a Sophomore status based on the university/college's class standing requirements at the start of the internship.nPreferred - GPA of 3.0 or higher.nMust be at least 18 years old.nMust be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.).nMust successfully pass standard pre-employment screens and must provide an original transcript from their school before their first day of employment.nMust be able to complete a minimum of a full time, 3 month assignmentnMust be willing and able to work in a Team based environment. nMust be familiar with Microsoft (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word, etc.) nMust be familiar with Creo, NX, VisMock-Up, Solidworks and Teamcenter. nMetrics development and reporting experience is essential. nAbility to work overtime and second shift is required. nMust be able to obtain a security clearance. nBasic understanding of drafting design is a plus.nGeneral Dynamics is a successful Fortune 100, global aerospace and defense company, with over 90,000 employees world-wide.
