Come join Critical Mass' summer student program and get unique experience working with real clients. During your initial onboarding, you will embark on a custom-built learning journey to understand what we do, who we are, and how we engage our people and clients. You will attend exclusive soft-skill building webinars spanning professional development, leadership, innovation, and diversity & inclusion. Whether you are in a city with one of our offices, or joining us remotely, you'll have an amazing summer of learning, networking and experience.

This 12-week summer student opportunity is for a current 2nd or 3rd year student that will be returning to school Fall 2022.

The internship program will begin May 2, 2022.

You Will:

Career Management process.

Communication of company policies.

Employee onboarding.

Rewards and Recognition.

Assist in the coordination, preparation and execution of paperwork including new hire packages, employment verification and letters of employment.

Organize and maintain HR content management system and employee files.

Assist in communicating career management and other company processes.

Partner with HR Director and HR Manager in working with internal departments to resolve employee issues.

Serve as an information resource and liaison to employees and managers.

Assume ad hoc tasks as necessary.

You Have:

Current student or recent grad in HR focused post-secondary program

Have experience in training and development or have some related work experience

Highly proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Internet browsers, PowerPoint and intermediate knowledge of Outlook

Superior communication skills, both oral and written

High degree of confidentiality and dealing with sensitive matters

Self-motivated, assertive, outgoing and eager

Good use of tact and judgment

Exceptional people skills, diplomacy, and a customer service focused attitude

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, flexible environment

Aptitude and desire for a career in Human Resources

Knowledge of employment related laws and practices is a plus
