The Intern - General 2 performs duties in field of study or profession. The Intern - General 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
The Intern - General 2 acts as an apprentice while completing formal education or immediately following graduation. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the future
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Have a strong academic history, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA being desired
Be actively involved on-campus and/or in the community

The Business Intelligence intern describes and uses the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities, and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.

This role will support Insights and Business Intelligence analytics needs for the Health Equity and Community Engagement team and will include performance dashboard reporting and other data visualizations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Less than 3 years of technical experience in data analysis
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer and health experiences
Preferred Qualifications
1 years of experience in SQL, SAS or other data systems
In-depth experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, graphs, etc.
Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Qlik for creating data visualizations
Expertise in assessing complex data sets and performing root cause analysis
Experience with data mining and predictive modeling techniques
Ability to use data to drive business outcomes and decisions
