Aon is looking for Sustainable Procurement Internship – Environmental and Governance Interns!In this role, you will support efforts within our Global Spend Management team to provide environment and governance support within our sustainable procurement team. You will work closely with program leadership on responsibilities listed below and collaborate with management, and partner with internal stakeholders, Category Leads where applicable. Location:Virtual Your impact as an Aon InternThis internship program is designed to develop the advanced analytical and research skillset needed to prepare college students for advancement into a consulting career by working hands-on with experienced consultants.Responsibilities & Objectives Assist in our sustainable procurement reporting processes Coordinate and support efforts on process flow mapping of existing sustainable procurement programs.Measuring supplier performance and reporting performance feedback to internal partnersSupport emissions reduction strategies, net zero targets, and supply chain governance.Support the overall strategy and execution of our environmental and governance programs.Currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or Supply ChainStrong verbal/written English communications skillsExcitement for the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a growing business and have an internship with a positive impact.Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong verbal and written communication skillsAttentive to detailAbility to work independentlyTime management skillsMulti-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentWorking proficiency/passion for working closely with law, compliance matters, and regulatory policyHighly organized and motivatedEducation & Application InformationGraduate students or Junior year Undergraduate students with a displayed interest in both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of problem solving (through choice of major, work experience and/or participation in school organizations).Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations.
