What will I be doing?
Hilton is seeking a Workforce Innovation Analytics Intern to join our HR Workforce Innovation and Optimization (WIO) team. As the (WIO) Analytics Intern, your focus will be supporting analyses that quantify, evaluate, the impact of various programs that are evolving the Team Member experience at Hilton. You will collaborate with business partners to review, organize and summarize data in support of strategic initiatives.
In this exciting role, you will help progress Hilton's workforce innovation projects, by providing meaningful insights on the design, implementation, and measurement of these initiatives. This requires an analytically savvy, problem-solving sophistication, and a drive to make the highest possible impact. Our dynamic environment calls for resourcefulness and quick thinking while collaborating cross-functionally.
More specifically, you will:
Analyze and Interpret data to identify trends.
Review and organize data to clearly summarize take-a-ways.
Identify insights in support of strategic stories that help HR improve the company’s investment in people.
Develop standardized data models / automated reporting tools (e.g., Tableau).
Partner and build positive relationships with business partners across the organization.
What are we looking for?

Critical thinking with both quantitative and qualitative skills, to identify the solutions and recommendations to hard problems.
Creative mindset to design and present crisp, easy to follow stories/dashboards that blend data and strategy
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Willingness to learn new technical skills (e.g., analytics platforms/visualization tools)
Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
Strong written and oral communication skills
Well organized, can prioritize, and multitask across several projects.
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
Currently enrolled as a full-time college student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related degree
Fluently speak, read, and write in English
Rising junior or senior
Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
Can work in the US without employment sponsorship
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Proficiency with interpreting data patterns and analyzing data
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Exposure and/or familiarity with Tableau
