SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing project support and adhoc reporting to Business Ops Team Members. The position will also be heavily involved with product data analysis for use in forecasting, daily/weekly reporting, and customer presentations. Additional responsibilities will include inventory analysis, promotion tracking, learning and managing data systems/reports as assigned by the supervisor, directly managing the outcome of specific projects as assigned by the supervisor, and acting as a daily contributing member to the Business Ops team, the division, and Tyson Foods, Inc. Based on initiative, this position offers the potential for exposure to accounting systems, enterprise supply chain activities, operations, customer service, CPG promotional partners, and brokers.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Minimum 3.0 GPA; Incoming College Junior, Senior, or full time graduate students.
Experience: Previous work or volunteer experience.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills.
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Special Skills: Previous work or volunteer experience; strong analytical skills; ability to multi-task; attention to detail and desire to learn; self-starter with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional groups.
Position Specific Requirements: This is a Summer internship. The position holder will be asked to work 40 hours per week over the summer.
