This position will require you to develop a practical and working knowledge of Aon’s risk services (including but not limited to property, casualty, management liability, marine, and aviation brokerage and consulting).Job Responsibilities:As a Proposal Intern, you will assist project managers with client-facing proposals and presentations for our Aon Commercial Risk Solutions business unit. Duties include writing, revising, proofreading, and editing proposals and presentations specific to client situations. As a proposal Intern you will also coordinate with SMEs and support ad hoc requests.You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:Writing, proofreading, and editing experienceDemonstrable background in developing custom strategic contentProactive in identifying effective methods and solutions for issue resolution with positive outcomesAbility to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environmentQuick study, detail oriented, flexible, and adaptable while working both independently and as a member of a collaborative growing teamDevelop relationships with effective communicationProficiency in Microsoft office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and OutlookEducation:Major in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields in communicationApplicants for this role, which is part of the Aon Summer Internship Program, should be rising seniors, graduating between December 2023 – June 2024 and have a GPA of 3.0 or above. Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Aon offers a benefits package for temporary and seasonal employees who will work 20 or more hours per week including: medical, dental, and vision insurance at the employee’s expense, critical illness insurance, 10 Company holidays per calendar year (paid, if eligible), paid sick leave as provided under state and local law, and a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions.
