The Carilion Summer Finance Internship Program is a multi-faceted, project based learning experience within Carilion's Finance department. The Finance Intern will work cross-departmentally to learn all aspects of the department's organizational structure, strategic initiatives, and system-wide operational impact. The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Information Technology or related program and have a working knowledge of basic business principals. Baseline knowledge of healthcare finance and an intent to enter the healthcare finance industry is highly desirable.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Typically a junior-senior level undergraduate student or student in a Master's degree program.
