Job Description

Overview:

Responsible for the controllership of accounts payable processing to consistently deliver accurate and timely payments in a shared service/highly automated environment. Completes manual tasks including invoice processing and data entry. Works on straight forward tasks using established procedures.

Core Responsibilities:

Completes basic accounts payable tasks such as accounts payable mail facilities processing, data inputs and control reports.

Works closely with vendors and employees to resolve basic accounts payable related issues while maintaining a high-level customer service approach. Escalates decisions to appropriate individuals.

Follows accounts payable policies and procedures.

Follows financial controls and confidentiality practices.

Proactively identifies and communicates potential problems in a timely manner.

Completes administrative tasks including mail processing, filing and distributing checks.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

Currently pursuing undergraduate degree or similar degree or certificationwith a plan to return to that program for at least one semester after completion of your internship

Ability to work 40 hours the entire duration of the program

Authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship in the future

Salary:

Base Pay: $20.00
